Host a Sock Drive

Hosting a sock drive is a great way to help those in need while doing a community service for your school, workplace, in your neighborhood, at your church, with your favorite team or club, or with your local Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts.

You can run your sock drive at whatever dates are convenient for you and we will come and pick up the socks when your event has concluded. Here are some tips on hosting a sock drive:

• Gather up your team of friends, family, schoolmates, or neighbors to decide when you would like to host your sock drive. Offer enough time for people to participate - whether a week or month. Anytime of year can work but you can also connect it to a holiday or special event.

• Contact us and let us know that you would like to host a sock drive.

• We will provide you with a donation box and information about Brandon’s Heart and Sole that you can share with others.

• Educate your team on the facts about communities in need and why socks are so important.

• Announce your sock drive through flyers, social media posts, newsletters, and other channels. The more people who hear about your event, the more likely it will be a huge success! Ask local businesses to take part in your event.

• Place your donation box in a highly visible place for those to see and take part.

• Collect socks and have fun!

• Contact us to arrange for pick up or drop off so that we can get them to those in need.
